Online Lessons with Eddie Collins
Eddie now offers one-on-one lessons via the Internet, specifically for those who are not able to meet with him directly. Such lessons should not be viewed as on-going (scheduled on a regular basis), but rather as a way to receive expert one-on-one feedback for occasional help with your picking. This is especially effective for those who feel they have reached a “plateau,” or are “stuck” and need ideas as to how to overcome obstacles.
What you will need to set up a lesson via the Internet:
A computer that can run the free Skype software. Your system will need a video camera and microphone (these elements are built-in on many MacIntosh computers and newer laptop PCs). Please be sure you have successfully connected with someone else using Skype and understand how to use the program before scheduling a lesson with Eddie.
Next, email Eddie (tuneman@austin.rr.com) to notify him that you would like to set up a lesson. If it is your first lesson, be sure to give him background information on your playing and what it is that you would like to focus on during the lesson. Be sure to include the name on your Skype account in the email. He will email back as to possible times to do the lesson and discuss ideas of what to prepare for and what he can cover.
Once a time for a lesson has been agreed upon, “purchase” the lesson using the PayPal button below. All lessons must be prepaid.
